I graduated Lakewood High School and went on to California College of Commerce. While in college I studied business and put those skills to work immediately by landing a position with a criminal law firm. Although exciting and nerve-racking at the same time, I decided to move on to a Divorce attorney. Needless to say, this venture was very educational but even more hectic.
As the mother of 3 young children, I found myself extremely busy with school, sports, travel teams, fundraisers and the like for most of the next decade, all while managing the business side of our plumbing company. I jumped back into the workforce head first managing a fast paced restaurant with more than 30 employees. We served more than 5000 customers per week. The hours involved in this undertaking was not cohesive to my hopes and dreams so after many years I decided to make the change to Real Estate.
I have always been the girl that stopped by all the open houses or new construction sites…..a “lookie Loo” I suppose. I took my classes, got my license and listed my first home immediately. I loved every minute. A year later we opened our own Company with the help of another Broker until I could obtain my own Broker’s license, which I did. Starting a real estate office from scratch was a great task but one that proved to be very successful. The knowledge I gained was immeasurable.
In 2001, we made the decision to re-locate back to Cleveland and settled first in Westlake, then Avon Lake. While re-licensing in Ohio, we purchased several investment properties to rehab, rent or re-sell. I have to say it seems to be inherent. I loved every part of the process. Searching for homes, knocking out walls, restoring and redecorating and seeing the end product is extremely satisfying to me. I have always been able to walk into a home and see its potential and having a husband that liked the same things made this perfect.
I joined Keller Williams EZ sales Team to be able to utilize the best resources possible for my clients. Our entire team is uplifting and supportive and willing to help at a moment’s notice. Our team is ranked #1 in Keller Williams Teams in Ohio and in the top 5 teams in the State of Ohio. We are consistently exceeding even our own goals. I am in the business to assure my buyer’s a smooth transition, whether it be a first home purchase, a second home or investment. The transaction does not have to be hard. It can be seamless and even enjoyable if done right. I strive to do just that on each and every home I sell. We pride ourselves on “doing the right thing”. It is my number one priority.
Additionally, I am a member of our Senior transition team. We work closely with our senior to sell their homes and transition them into their next stage, whether it be a downsized single level home or to a retirement community, assisted living or skilled nursing. At home, we have our precious rag-doll cat Bella who for some reason believes she is in charge and owns the place. My husband and I like to spend our free time on long drives, exploring new locations, sailing, and sporting events. When time permits, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes, scrapbooking and traveling.
