Dawn moved to Catawba Island at a young age, she fell in love with Lake Erie and boating and proudly ended up making Catawba her lifelong home. Dawn is a graduate of Bowling Green State University earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Technology. She raised two children on Catawba Island instilling in them, the small-town values that have shaped their lives to become strong, successful, committed adults as her parents did for her.
Dawn started her career working at a local title agency and learned the basics in the real estate process. Later Dawn and her family started a ferry boat line called The Island Hopper. The Island Hopper ran excursions to Put-In-Bay and Kelleys Island. This was a great adventure in being able to share the sites of the islands with visitors and locals, not to mention being able to work every day with family. During this time Dawn spent hours exploring and traveling between the islands which allowed her to become very familiar with all of all the area has to offer. She enjoyed meeting new people every day and helping them with daily activities or planning special events aboard the boat. As the years went by Dawn’s parents retired and the business was sold, but she loved the boating lifestyle so she started working in customer service in the marine industry and has spent 20 years managing operations and service departments. During this time Dawn learned the importance of communication and understanding the needs of clients and their time. This lead her back to real estate and becoming a Realtor to stay in the business of helping people with the dream of owning their own home. Dawn’s strong desire to make people happy and enjoy life has shined through her years in all areas.
Dawn and her husband currently reside in a waterfront home on Catawba Island. They purchased an older home and began the transformation remodel; it was amazing to put the vision into motion as the transformation was incredible to watch. Dawn continues to enjoy boating with her family and friends and spending time with her granddaughters. Dawn has a work ethic and drive that continues to motivate her to be the best she can be in her personal and professional life. Dawn is looking forward to forming new relationships and enthusiastic about helping make your real estate dreams come true.
